Tulip sales for The 5th Annual Tulips Against Tumors Tribute
have been
completed!
Thank you to everyone who participated by buying tulips or donating to the Memorial Gardens, which will be planted at Legislative Hall in Dover, DE and Cool Spring Park, Wilmington, DE.
Proceeds will help to provide funds for The Kelly Heinz- Grundner Brain Tumor Foundation’s Family Assistance Program, which financially supports patients and families who are struggling with this disease, and have a significant financial need. If you did not have an opportunity to order tulip bulbs, but want to support the Tulips Against Tumors Tribute, please consider making a donation.
If you have ordered tulips, they will be available for delivery by your Team Captain, shipping or pick up beginning the week of October 12th. If you are picking up your order at the KHG Foundation office, located at 300 Water Street, Ste. 103, Wilmington, DE 19801, please call us at (302) 427-2280 to arrange a mutually convenient time for pick up.
Join us on National Planting Day, November 7th, 2009 at Legislative Hall in Dover, DE at 12:30pm EST. Chris Stein, singer, songwriter, worship leader and two time brain tumor survivor will be leading the Memorial Garden dedication ceremonies. Please join KHG in our annual tradition of planting tulips to honor those we love and help raise brain tumor awareness!
Please RSVP to KHG if you are interested in attending the National Planting Day Ceremony at Legislative Hall. Adults who will be attending need to bring a photo ID as you will need to go through security upon entering Legislative Hall.
